We offer a range of bespoke learning opportunities for our clients covering a wide variety of topic areas. These may range from those that help your organisation to meet mandatory requirements, to those that help to develop best practice or enable staff to meet the needs of specific client groups.
Health and social care values are inherent in all our courses.
Courses can be delivered in single or multi-agency groups. We are experienced in training teams where there are a variety of job roles.
We can facilitate team days during periods of change, difficulty or development.
These courses can vary in length but can generally be met though full or half day courses.
Where appropriate, we can also combine multiple topics into single sessions. For example, attendees may require refreshers in more than one area.

- Our trainers gather information during courses in order to provide you with feedback about current knowledge, practice levels and new learning demonstrated by your employees during training and thus inform future planning of your organisation.
- After each training event, the trainer will complete a training evaluation form which will highlight any themes that may arise.
- Feedback from the trainers are often positive compliments to congratulate good practice and also areas that the client may wish to explore further.
- Confidentiality is essential regarding individual comments but we are clear on our responsibilities with regards to safeguarding and will raise any concerns appropriately.

Room hire
Spectrum can offer a large training conference room which can accommodate up to 40 people (non Covid) depending on the lay out that suits your organisation’s needs. We also have smaller rooms available for hire. Our training rooms are located in Exeter, the main conference room being in Marsh Barton.

- Full accessible for people with more specific access requirements.
- Parking available for people with mobility needs and the host. There are more spaces locally off road and in public car parks nearby.
- Refreshments available at extra cost
- Bike rack storage for up to 4 bikes
- Close to park and ride service
- 10 minutes from J30 of the M5, 10 minutes from A30 Alphington exit and 5 minutes from A38.
